Jellyfish swim school has been operating for over 15 years and has developed a system of teaching which has consistently achieved great results for children all over Sussex. Our guaranteed small classes, often half the numbers of other schools and our positive friendly approach ensure that children learn quickly and safely. We pride ourselves as experts in teaching novice swimmers from age 3 years and ensure that the basics are taught correctly as this gives the grounding for attaining the best possible technique and getting swimmers to realise their full potential.
Lessons are focused on building children’s water confidence through a variety of games, activities and nursery rhymes. Developing babies/toddlers mobility, co-ordination and independence in the water. This is achieved by a variety of activities from getting their face wet, blowing bubbles, floating, jumping in, simulating strokes and using water toys and floating aids that capture each child’s imagination whilst they learn. Our ethos is based on nurturing development to ensure a positive experience and a love of water. We take babies from 3 months to 3 years, in parent and baby and parent and toddler classes.
Crawley Swimming Club & Jellyfish Swim School's Aim's To fast track talented young swimmers to being able to train and compete at a higher level from a younger age. Creating a seamless pathway from the Jellyfish Swim School through to Crawley Swimming Club Development Programme. A “talent” lane will be set up at K2 Leisure centre to provide fitness training and additional technique training for young talented swimmers from Jellyfish Swim School. Initially there will be one session available which will take place on the Last Friday in every month and be reviewed after three month period. Academy Swimmers will be identified by their swimming teachers as being suitable candidates for the session and formally invited to attend.
